You will want to keep this as your private secret to great skin. This skin scouring powder can be added to your cleansing routine. You will find very small quantities of saliclyic acid fancy cleansers, aftershave gels, and moisturizers. We allow you to apply it to the skin and remove it so you control the amount of "Boost" that works for your skin.
Use: Our powder can be combined with either a cleanser or moisturizer. Think of it as a mask-like treatment. You use only a dash for an all over facial treatment.
What is Salicylic Acid? It is a beta hydroxy acid derived from the bark of the willow tree. It has a larger molecule than it's cousin - Alpha Hydroxy acids. The larger size keeps them on the surface of the skin allowing it to more effectively penetrate and exfoliate within the pore. This makes it great for acne prone skin. Its mocular size also makes it less irritating than Alpha Hydroxy acids making it ideal for sensitive skin. Commercial Lotions often contain 1-2%. According to the maker, it can be combined with other therapies including Retinol for treating Acne.
Note: Because it exfoliates layers of dead skin off the surface of your face, we find it can make your skin more sensitive to wind, sun and severe weather. So, we suggest that you use sun screen and add topical vitamins after treatments and a heavy moisturizer. Salicylic Acid is an organic product and from Queen Bee, comes in its raw form for you to add to your skin care regime. Our product ships in a 1/4 oz jar and most people find that it last them between 3-6 months with regular use.

For Use:
Skin: For facial exfoliation we mix < 1/16 teaspoon with our Face Paste into a gentle microexfoliating blast.
Dry Scalp: We like to mix 1/4 tsp dry boost powder into our shampoo for super exfoliating cleansing when ichy scalp crops up.
