This is the equivalent of Scrubbing Bubbles for your face. I can almost see the little guys sloughing my dead cells. You might want to keep this as your private secret to great skin. This skin scouring powder can be added to your regular cleansing routine. You will find very small quantities of saliclyic acid fancy cleansers, aftershave gels, and moisturizers. We allow you to apply it to the skin and remove it so you control the amount of "Boost" that works for your skin.
Our powder can be combined with either a cleanser or moisturizer. Think of it as a mask-like treatment. You only need to use only a dash for an all over facial treatment. We like to use it with a rice bran, rice powder and cornstarch combination that we call Face Paste.
What is Salicylic Acid? It is a beta hydroxy acid derived from the bark of the willow tree. It has a larger molecule than it's cousin - Alpha Hydroxy acids. The larger size keeps them on the surface of the skin allowing it to more effectively penetrate and exfoliate within the pore. This makes it great for acne prone skin. Its molecular size also makes it less irritating than Alpha Hydroxy acids making it ideal for sensitive skin.
It some cases, it can make your skin more sensitive to wind, sun or severe weather. We suggest that you use sun screen if going out. Salicylic Acid is an organic product. We ship it in it's raw form. Then you can determine what works best for your skin. Our product ships in a 2 oz shaker top jar.
